General Theme

Entries are expected to focus primarily on issues that relate to illusion vs. reality – as expressed in the slogan of Red-Pill Expo: “To understand how the world really works.” A sub-category of this theme includes effective measures to empower the cultural and political victory of individualism over collectivism – as expressed in the slogan of Red-Pill University: “Don’t fight city hall when you can BE city hall”.

Principles & Ethics

The fact that we do not believe in censoring opinions contrary to our own does not mean we are willing to use our resources to promote or popularize them. Films that directly or subliminally advocate or praise any variant of collectivism are not eligible. For this purpose, collectivism is defined as any action that is described as such in the Creed of Freedom. Submissions also will not be eligible if, in the best judgement of the Qualifications Committee, they are contrary to the
Code of Conduct.

Production Value

Content and production quality are the two elements that will determine the evaluation of your film. Content likely will be the most important of the two, but please make sure that images are crisp and color-corrected, that audio is clear throughout and at consistent levels, and be careful not to allow the music track (if any) to obscure narration or dialogue.

Trailers & Intros

Trailers should not exceed five minutes including an optional personal message from the producer to the attendees of the Red Pill Expo.

Producer’s Photo & Bio

High-res photo please.

Approval Policy

All submissions must be approved by the Qualifications Committee. They will not be approved if the Committee feels they fail to meet the criteria described in this list.

Instructions for Submissions

Red-Pill Film Festival

Thanks for your interest in submitting your cinematic masterpiece to the Red-Pill Film Festival. Here is what you need to know.

Eligibility

The film festival is limited to productions in the documentary genre. Simple lectures, roundtable discussions and  interviews are not in that category. Segments from interviews and public presentations are commonly included in documentaries but the dominant components usually include narration, music, historic footage, and graphics – even animation and AI.* They usually involve team effort and take months or years to create. Single songs accompanied by video action are not considered to be documentaries.

Dates and Cost

There is no fee required for a submission. Films will be available for online viewing on the Red-Pill website exclusively for those who have tickets to physically attend the Expo. The viewing window will be open for three weeks prior to the Expo beginning Oct 26. Awards will be announced at the Expo. The deadline for submission is Oct. 15.

Religious Exclusion to be Avoided

The Red-Pill Coalition includes people of different religious faiths who, nevertheless, are united by the belief that we are spiritually obligated to oppose evil in our physical world. We cannot defeat or even contain the forces behing tyranny without this unity for, without it, we can be lured into conflict over religious doctrine. It is for this reason that submissions will not be eligible if, in the judgement of the Qualifications Committee, they favor or denigrate the religious doctrine of a specific religion. That activity is well suited for theological and church organizations but not for an ideological movement such as ours. The only rare exception would be a theological doctrine that appears to be in conflict with the ideological principles expressed in The Creed of Freedom or The Code of Conduct. Even in that case, however, every effort must be made to stay focused on ideological principles, not  religious doctrines.

Neutralism

Admissions will not be eligible if, in the opinion of the Qualifications Committee, they advocate activities that, although they sound meritorious, actually are what might be called “feel-good” projects designed to divert funding and human resources into channels that stand no chance of bringing about meaningful change. Notable examples are partisan politics, trust-the-plan fantasies, and repent-your-sins movements that want us to believe that the great evil in the world today is caused by us. “This is a spiritual battle” they say, “so forget the psychopaths and criminals who are trying to kill most of us and enslave the rest – just forget them. We are the problem, not them, because we are sinners, and they are God’s just punishment. The solution? Repent your sins and pray for forgiveness. God will handle the rest.” (See Yes, It’s  a Spiritual Battle but are we the Enemy?)

The latest addition to this list of insults to our intelligence is the prediction of a new pandemic that will kill fat people but not slender ones. Therefore, the call to action is: “Forget about challenging the pandemic narrative or its agenda but, by all means, go on a diet and lose weight!” (See Trump Prophet Had Vision of new Plague.)

It is our conviction that these absurd narratives, and others like them, are either created by or, at a minimum, financed by the Deep State because they have the effect of completely neutralizing millions of concerned citizens who, otherwise, might unite into an action-based coalition.

* AI and HI (Human Intelligence) are both dependent on the data put into their processors and memory banks. As they say: Garbage in, garbage out; Truth in, truth out. Likewise. AI systems will always contain the bias of the data fed into them, which means that government and large corporate AI systems will always parrot the ideology of collectivism, because that is the heart and soul of their creator. On the other hand, there is no reason that individualists cannot create AI systems built with data that contains their own world view. In fact, Mike Adams of Brighteon Broadcast News has done exactly that. Hopefully, we will see more of this in the future from different views of theology, politics, and social norms in much the same way that, today, we can select a book based on the worldview of the author or publisher. That’s the nature of a free market, and it works exceedingly well. It’s the only way we can do head-on battle with AI from the Dark Side. As genuine advocates of free speech, we cannot call for censorship of collectivist ideology and propaganda, but we can expose its deceptions and offer superior arguments. In this way, AI can be just as powerful a tool for individualism as it is for collectivism – if not more so.
