SPEAKERS’ INFORMATION

This information is for those who have been invited to speak at a Red Pill event. Please read carefully. A few extra minutes at the start will pre-answer most questions along the way.

RED PILL EXPO

Red Pill Expo is our primary public event, based on the Red-Pill meme popularized by the sci-fi movie, The Matrix. Its purpose is three-fold: (1) Dispel the illusions that prevent mankind from achieving optimum freedom, life fulfillment, and human dignity, (2) create a universal understanding of the differences between collectivism and individualism, and (3) forge a global coalition to replace collectivists who now dominate the power centers of society with individualists who have no agendas other than to gradually convert the nations of the world from governments (that govern their citizens) into protectorates (that protect them) – to be exact – to protect their lives, liberty, and property) – nothing more.

ALL SPEAKERS RECEIVE:

(1) A still image (16 X 9 ratio) of speaker’s personal or commercial message (provided by speaker) will be projected on screen and seen by livestream viewers numerous times during program interludes. There is no cost for this. It will be replaced by the video promotion in item 3 if that option is selected.

(2) If speakers mention their web-site links or other contact information during their presentations, this information will be embedded in the Red-Pill University Archives, in replays, and Expo video albums sold at the Reality Zone online bookstore where replays will be accessed in perpetuity.

(3) All speakers receive a VIP ticket that includes lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. An additional VIP ticket for a spouse or guest is available upon request. Each VIP ticket includes 10 raffle tickets that can be retained by the speaker or given to friends.

(4) All speakers receive 100%-discount coupons for 10 General-Admission tickets to be given to friends and business associates. Each of them includes 5 raffle tickets for each recipient when they use the coupons to sign up to physically attend the Expo.

(4) Optional: A professionally produced video to promote speaker’s books, recordings, enrollments, or other offerings is available to speakers at 50% discount from the standard price. This will replace the still image described in item 1. This must be initiated no later than two weeks prior to the event.

EXPENSES

There are two categories of speakers. The extent to which their expenses are covered depends on their category:

1. ACADEMIC speakers are those who have no product or service to offer other than information and inspiration related to the Red-Pill mission. Authors with only books or recordings of their message are considered to be in this category. Academic speakers have their expenses covered by Red Pill as follows:

TRAVEL: When flights are required, we cover the cost of an Economy fare for one person. Priority is given to non-stop flights. By default, flight tickets are purchased by Red Pill. If ground travel is preferred or required, gas-station receipts will be honored as evidence of transport cost, and motel receipts for cost of accommodations. Rates are capped at $150 per stopover.

HOTEL: A hotel room for one or two is covered for up to three nights at the event. It will be scheduled and paid for by Red Pill. If less that three nights will be used because of an early departure or if a fourth night is necessary to accommodate delayed departure time, please make advance arrangements with Carleen, Event Coordinator.

2. MONETIZED speakers are those who have a product or service to offer that has the potential to generate profit after all Expo-related expenses are paid. By default, Sponsors are considered to be in this category. This, however, can be changed by  request.

WE ARE VOLUNTEERS

All event executives and other decision makers are volunteers. Speakers also are volunteers, even though many of them are professionals who normally receive honoraria. We all donate our time and talent because we are driven to make this movement succeed. To do that, we offer free livestream attendance and modestly priced physical attendance so as not to exclude those with tight budgets. Getting our message out to as many brethren as possible as quickly as possible is our highest priority, and this is how we do it.

DONATE A RAFFLE PRIZE

Speakers are asked to donate something connected to their message that would be regarded as a valuable prize to winners of our event raffle. This, of course, is not required. The goal is to provide items that would normally be valued at $35 or more — some are much more expensive — as you can see at our event registration page. Donors agree to send these prizes directly to the winners. So we can publicize these gems prior to the event, please send a photo and brief description as soon as possible to [email protected]. Your donation will be seen by everyone who registers for the Expo.

PROMOTION

Speakers agree to participate in at least one media interview for the purpose of promoting their presentations at the Expo. They also agree to use their own communication channels at least twice to notify their followers of their participation. If speakers have sizeable followers on social-media plarforms, we ask that they allow us to create a live feed to the platforms during the event. Speakers also are encouraged to participate in the Affiliate Marketing Program that generates a commission on items sold to attendees who sign up in response to efforts of the speaker as recorded in the affiliate program. The commission for speakers is 15% of sales. Our Marketing Coordinator will contact you after completion of this form and can guide you or your staff through the process. Tools and promotional materials are provided.

AUDIO AND VIDEO

Speakers grant non-exclusive audio-video rights to the producers of Red Pill Expo and their communication channels: Red Pill University, Freedom Force International, and Reality Zone. Speakers have access to, or copies of, recordings of their presentations upon request. Copyright of the recordings shall be held by Freedom Force International, but speakers can use them without restriction.

NATIONALISM AND THEOLOGY ARE NOT OUR MISSION

Our audiences may be significantly different from those to which you are accustomed. They are international in composition (especially when online presence is considered) and they include people from different cultures and faiths. Presentation content should reflect this fact and focus as much as possible on issues that are of concern to all, regardless of culture, nationality, or religion. Specifically:

♦ When dealing with issues in one country, try to present them in context of similar challenges in all countries.

♦ If you wish to express your religious faith, we ask that it be in context of your topic, not as a prayer, sermon, or testimonial.

This is a sensitive issue, so let us be clear. The purpose of this policy is, not to stifle patriotism or spirituality, but to avoid the appearance of exclusion and to foster the feeling of unity among all present, including those from other countries and of other faiths. This is essential if we are serious about forging a global coalition, which is the whole purpose of our endeavor. We are neither a patriotic organization nor a church. We are a movement. We seek to bring together and find solidarity with people of all nations, cultures, races, religions, genders, economic statuses, and lifestyles. Asking them to stand and pledge allegiance to the flag of one nation or bow their heads in public prayer pegged to one religious faith closes the door on global solidarity. The only concept on which we can build a broad coalition for liberty is the universal longing to be free of state or institutional control over our personal lives.

One of the principles in The Creed of Freedom (which is the ideological gyroscope of our movement) is that the only justification for coercion against other human beings is the defense of life and liberty. Therefore, we must avoid using the coercion of group pressure, as exists in public gatherings, to compel attendees to pretend to give allegiance or prayer contrary to their conscience. Doing so, not only is an infamous characteristic of collectivism to which we are opposed, it is a barrier to building the coalition we seek.

GROUP IDENTITY IS OFF LIMITS

One of the few requirements in our coalition is that we must reject group identity, which means we judge people by their personal actions and beliefs, not the actions and beliefs said to be held by those with whom they associate. That simple rule eliminates the all-too-common practice of judging people by race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, or organizational affiliation. At Red-Pill University and Red-Pill Expos, expressions such as the Chinese, the Israelis, the Americans, the Blacks, the Whites, the Jews, the Catholics, or the Mormons are not welcome if they are used in judgement of the merit or demerit of those within these groups. There is a temptation to make an exception to this rule when when groups take actions or officially declare beliefs that are in full conflict with the principles expressed in our Creed of Freedom or Code of Conduct. However, there always are people in these groups who are ignorant of these principles or who are going along because of social pressure or fear of reprisal. That is why we must adhere to the rule of individual judgement. This principle is essential if we hope to build a global coalition consisting of people from different nations, religions, cultures, and political systems. The principles in the Creed and the Code are truly universal and they are the only positive ideals that, in our time, can serve as a unifying force for all mankind.

POLITICAL PARTISANSHIP

For this same reason, we ask speakers to refrain from praising or criticizing specific political parties or political figures unless doing so is necessary to understanding the topics of their presentations. Many in the audience will have political loyalties or animosities that will cause them to reject your larger message because their hot button was pushed by your smaller message. A politician who looks good today may be revealed tomorrow as the opposite of what we thought. Your presentation will be archived at Red Pill University and Expo video albums and, when viewed ten or twenty years from now, today’s enthusiasm for a political party or politician may be embarrassing.

ACTIVISTS & CANDIDATES

It is inevitable that our events will attract those with political objectives. Those running for office, circulating petitions, and advocating positions on ballot propositions will want a presence. This is a perfect fit for our coalition so long as it is recognized by the public that they are part of the coalition at the event, but are not the event itself – like newspaper advertisers compared to newspaper publishers. All political activists and candidates are welcome as advertisers or sponsors provided they adhere to our Rules of Conduct. As advertisers, they are welcome to deliver a video advertisement that is broadcast throughout the event during interludes. They even may be keynote speakers with full presentations but only if their topics relate solely to issues and principles, not political parties or candidacy for office. The pursuit of partisan goals is reserved for video advertisements.

RULES OF CONDUCT

Red-Pill University has a conduct code that applies to all attendees, staff, and speakers at any of its activities, including the Red-Pill Expo. The following conduct is not allowed: (1) abusive language or activity, (2) physical aggression, (3) drunkenness, (4) sounds that interfere with the comfort or activities of others, (5) signage, recordings, literature, or commentary that denigrates race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, culture, gender, education, economic status, political-party affiliation, or life style, or (6) engaging in or advocating activity that, in the opinion of the Expo Director, is unethical, immoral, or illegal.
