Human Potential

In an age of rising technology and artificial intelligence, there is a tendency to denigrate the amazing potential of humanity. Tyrants and technocrats despise humanity’s strongest characteristics because they are obstacles to the acceptance of control by decree. Those characteristics include affection, creativity, a longing for liberty, an instinct for private property, bravery in the defense of human life and liberty, and the drive to be independent and productive in spite of huge obstacles. It is impossible to appreciate man’s place in the universe without pondering the amazing scope of human potential. This is more important than it may seem because almost every positive characteristic of humanity is in direct opposition to the ideology of collectivism, which is one of the reasons collectivist schemes are universally ant-humanity in nature.
