Professor Peterson’s answer was No. The question was did he think global-warming could unify mankind at last. His reasons were: Global Warming may not even be happening and, if it is, we can’t do anything about it anyway. Published by Global Warming Policy Forum, 2018-11-8. [Source] [Cached]
When I ask people to estimate the CO2 percentage in air they answer with figures as high as 20 %. Then I answer them and say that is only 0.04 % or 400 ppm while plants can not live without as they absorb CO2 and under the unfluence of light return O2 to the air and use the C of CO2 for their growth … No CO2 then no plants … And reverse: a little bit more CO2 makes plants grow. In fact the CO2 is so low as plants consume all the CO2 and are at the point of starvation.
But there is more. When there is so little CO2 in air even a factor of 2 or 3 or 4 will hardly affect the thermal conductivity of the air. A greenhouse effect when the CO2 increases a little is impossible.
Could it be that the powers that be have deceived us ??? Think about it !!!
You do not have to be professor. Use your common sense. It is the best there is.
Smartest decision I’ve heard lately, exhausted with the Greta puppet show.
